Hi I'm Kyle

I grew up in California. I am a French Speaking pirate! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am currently serving a mission to the Washington D.C. North Mission, and I am speaking French! This is the only French speaking mission in the US that I have been told of. I have been able to meet the people and share the gospel with them! Before my mission, I went to a year at the real BYU. I am studying Information Technology and I hope to be able to go into Ethical Hacking and Penetration Testing. In my free time, I played a lot of online competitive PC games like StarCraft 2 and League of Legends. I play a lot of instruments, but I am best at keyboard purcussion. I have an unnatural obsession with pirates. Doesn't matter what it is, I love it. I have a full uniform, necklace, and sword of a pirate. I love learning about pirates too!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church, but that doesn´t mean that I have always been so faithful. When I was 15 years old, my family moved. I went from a small city of less than 3000 people to a school about that size. This was a huge change, and I really struggled with making new friends. This extended into church, because I felt like I was no accepted by anyone. After months and months of struggling, I had many regrets and sins. I felt horrible, like I had screwed up my life and that I was all alone. My mother was the one to help me make the changes that I needed. She helped me by pushing me, and making me do things that I wouldn't normally do. She made me go on a bike trip with the other youth my age. She got me to go out and do things. After talking to my bishop, and working through all my issues, I was able to get out of the pit I was in. I can say that I gained my testimony during this time. I continue living a Mormon lifestyle because I know the blessing I can recieve from it. I am on a mission now so that I can spread the joy that comes from knowing that Jesus Christ is our Savior.

How I live my faith

I am living my faith by honorably serving a mission and being obedient to what I have recieved. There are so many other things that I could be doing, but I know that this is where I am supposed to be. I could not think of anything that could help me grow more, both spiritually and physically. The Prophet has called me, and I know that this is the best thing for someone of my age to be doing.
