Hi I'm Amy

I am optimistic, I am a nurse and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from nursing school and passed my license exam, now I ask myself, what now? Some may say that the world is falling apart around us. They may believe the future looks bleak but I believe in a loving Savior that will never leave us. Jesus Christ has given us the opportunity for eternal life and eternal salvation. I think what better way to give back to Christ is to accept His invitation to follow Him. I love serving others and putting a smile on someone's face whether it be my patient, a neighbor or a brother and sister. I like the feeling of going home after a long day and realizing I made a difference. Even in a small moment someone was better off. I want to do good in the world and I know that it is by serving God that I can make the greatest impact.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was eight years old, I was baptized by my dad. I think now of the promises made during baptism. I will admit that I was not certain all I was doing then but what I know for certain is what I was doing was right. I have taken upon me the name of Jesus Christ and I have promised to always remember Him and to keep His commandments, with these promises I will have the Holy Ghost to be my companion to guide me in my life. The promises made are worth more to me than anything the world would have to offer. I have prayed with all my heart to Heavenly Father to know if Joseph Smith Junior is a prophet, if the temple is a place families can be together forever and if Jesus Christ lives and is my Savior. I know Christ loves me and God sent Him to fulfill the infinite Atonement to allow us to be clean and return to live in their presence again. Our Father in Heaven wants to have an eternal family and I want to follow His commandments to be one of His children that He can welcome with open arms and say, "well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord" (Matthew 25:23).

How I live my faith

I am serving my God, along with many other young people my age. I am a full-time missionary and a representive of Jesus Christ to Argentina. I have realized that the Character of Christ is perfect and I can work each day to develope charity, diligence, knowledge, faith, obedience, hope, virtue, patience and humilty. I read the Book of Mormon and the Bible. I pray throughout the day for assistence because I am nothing without Christ and I am everything to Him.
