Hi I'm Amiee

I grew up in same house all my life from 2-18yrs old in Virginia. I am a Domestic Engineer. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have a good lookin husband and four adorable kids. My life is my family. I would not have it any other way. I like to cut hair, bake, try new recipies, been sucessful at canning twice in my life. I love to take pictures of my family! I also love to play basketball and work in the yard. My stress reliever is cleaning the house. I love to find deals when shopping, I rarley buy things full price. I attended some college, will be going back. My family and I LOVE the beach! Lived in three states to far. Love, love me some Louisiana food. I am a committe member for Free To Breahe Richmond-lung cancer research. I love to go on dates with my hubby!

Why I am a Mormon

WHY NOT? Why would Heavenly Father give me this AWESOME family that I have and make death pull us apart? He WOULDN'T!! He LOVES us so much and wants the family to stay together. I have not worked this hard here on earth for it to be taken when I die. President Monson is a prophet! When he speaks you can just feel the Savior's love pouring from him and touching your heart. The Book of Mormon helps keep our family together. We read it before the kids go to school and before they go to bed. If we miss out on it one time, grantee the day will not go as smoothly. Family Home Evening is the same. Our neighbor’s kids come over on Family Night because they have so much fun and they can feel the spirit, and they are not members of the church. God knows us all if you ask he will let you know IF you are willing to hear what HE has to say, not what you want. I have a long way to go, but I have also come a long way. I love this church, is it always easy, No, but is it ALWAYS worth it, YES!

How I live my faith

My faith is lived every minute every day. It is just not a Sunday, if you know what I mean. My children help me also live my faith when I slip up. And yes, I do slip up. I have been with the younger youth of the church (18mo-11yrs) for about 6yrs now. I absoutley LOVE them! If you are having a bad day just go visit them one Sunday because they say the cutest and funniest stuff. I have helped with the 12-18 yr old girls with thier basketball team! It was so fun! Plus I play myself on the womens team. I try to visit the ladies that I have been assigned to every month. I have learn so much from visiting these ladies and they have helped my testimony grow. You have to have FAITH in every footstep now of days in this world. The Lord is always there if you every feel like he isn't there just get down on your knees and be still and he will let you know he is there.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?
