Hi I'm Gretchen Seigfried

I'm a hard working country girl. I'm crazy about horses. I'm love my huge family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a country girl, through and through. The most important things in my life are my family, my horses and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, which is the big reason why I'm Mormon. Regardless, I received witness and confirmation of the truth of this Gospel at a very young age, and my testimony has only grown since then. Why I choose to be Mormon is because I know this Church as true, and as often as that's said I mean it with all my soul. I'm Mormon because I love it. I'm Mormon because I love my Heavenly Father, my Savior, Jesus Christ, and my friend the Holy Ghost. I'm Mormon because it's made me who I am. I'm Mormon because I'm Mormon. And that's me. :)

How I live my faith

I always jump at an opportunity to serve. I love service projects for either the Church, in 4-H, or any other setting. I love being able to use my talents to lift others and to share the Light of Christ with them. The best way I live my faith is by example. I make a special effort to make everything I do reflect my membership in the Church and the name of Christ that I carry with me. I absolutely adore any and all church activities, and I love being involved in preparing and leading them. This coming year, I'll be starting my 18 month mission in Wichita, Kansas.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

Gretchen Seigfried
While bringing knowledge and answers, reading the scriptures (not just the Bible exclusively) can confirm the truth in any of the books. The Bible refers to the Book of Mormon, and the Book of Mormon refers to the Bible. Both books mention each other and testify of the other's truthfulness. Show more Show less
