Hi I'm Tim

I grew up in SLC Utah, now live and work in northeast Michigan with my family. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Currently I am working in the healthcare industry and enjoy the learning and growing process of helping others. I work in Supply Chain for hospitals and like the challenges of my job day to day trying to save the hospital and ultimately the patients money. I went to a couple different undergraduate programs before graduating with a bachelors in business management, and I am now currently working on my MBA in Healthcare Management. Education is an important part of my life and I hope to always continue learning. My beautiful wife and young daughter are the light of my life. I appreciate their love and comfort every night when I get home from work. Our little dog is also a lot of fun for our home. We live away from all other family, but appreciate the opportunity to grow close in our little family here in Michigan.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a very strong/close family, and my parents are very actively involved members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I naturally grew up going to church every Sunday and began learning in church and in my home what my parents know to be true. The experience as I look back was somewhat forced, but I enjoyed it. I felt good when I was in church and I had great friends there. As I grew older and learned more about church and the world, I came to really understand the variety of religion and the purpose of Faith in a supreme being. I gained at an early age a testimony of prayer, and as a teenager began to learn my own testimony of the truthfullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Today I give my life for the purposes of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is not always easy, but I know that I am an instrument in the hands of the Lord and that He has blessed my life eternally for it. I am a Mormon because I know through the power of the Holy Ghost that the teachings in the Book of Mormon are true. I know that Jesus Christ lives and that this church is the true restored church on the earth today, restored with the power of the priesthood. I am now mormon, because I have learned that the teachings taught, when lived correctly, bring me and my family GREAT Happiness....now and forever!

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday by setting an example of right and wrong. My mother taught me from a very young age right from wrong, but I believe there is an inate part of all of us that lets us know right from wrong regardless of our history. The difference is how much we choose to pay attention to the feelings inside. I pray to my Heavenly Father everyday and thank Him for all of the blessings that he bestows upon me each and every day. One of my greatest blessings is the very fact that I can pray to Him and know that he is listening and also granting to me daily inspiration and revelation for my life. I live my faith by doing my best to not be concerned when I may be looked at funny for standing up for what I believe. I keep the Word of Wisdom by not consuming alcohol, tabacco, tea, drugs, and doing what I can to keep myself healthy with good eating habits and excercise. I am honest in my dealings with others and try to always speak kindly to everyone. This may be hard at times, but I try to remember what Jesus Christ Himself would do if he were in my situation. I strive to read my scriptures often and learn of what the ancient prophets and apostles taught, what Jesus Christ Himself taught, and what our modern day prophets teach today. I try to align my life with their teachings to be worthy of the Holy Spirit in my life.
