Hi I'm Barry

I was born in Richfield, UT. I have lived in TN., AZ., NC, CO, ID, and MO. I went on a mission to Spain, Malaga. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I love being with family because they are the center of my whole life. I love all kinds of sports and love being outdoors! I love all kinds of pets especially dogs.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I know that my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me for who I am and know what is best for me. I know that they love all children upon the face of the earth no matter what. I know that I can talk to them through prayer and express my up most desires and fears and be grateful for what he has given me. I know that we can have eternal families through his plan as long as we abide by his teachings on this earth. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ which supports the Bible in every way. I know that we have a living prophet on the earth today President Thomas S. Monson who receives revelation for us all so that we might know of the things of our Heavenly Father. I love being part of this church because I can live with my family eternally through God's eternal plan.

How I live my faith

I am an active member of my faith because I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have a plan for me on this earth. We are reminded every week at church of how we can be better people in this life. I get to teach on Sundays to the nursery children and Tuesday nights to the cub scouts and teach them the basic things in life. These children feel my life with love and happiness for how they live their lives. It is such a great opportunity to teach young children who have a desire to learn anything. It gives me the desire to learn again and be around such great children.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Barry
I have a firm testimony of the law of the tithe because I have seen these blessings in my life. My mom taught me at the age of 16 to pay your tithes first above anything else. Always take 10 percent of your income out and pay and you will receive the blessings! I have always been blessed with financial support and I know it is a commandment from our Heavenly Father and it is a way to show our thanks to him for all that all that he gives us on this earth.
