Hi I'm Micah Pixton

I grew up in San Antonio, Texas. I am home schooled and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! My name is Micah, and I'm a student at college majoring in Accounting. I'm from the great state of Texas and I'm Texan to the core. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, backpacking, swimming, reading, and taking naps. And I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member of this Church since birth. I've loved every minute of it. Nothing else has brought me as much joy. I especially love the promise that we can live together forever as families. I love my family, and not being able to live with them eternally is a sad thought. That's why I'm a member. The promises it has if we are worthy are amazing.

How I live my faith

In my student congregation, I participate by organizing weekly activities for members every Monday night. I also serve as a family history coordinator. In that role, I encourage and help others with their family history. Finally, I minister monthly to a group of people individually to ensure they are doing well and to take care of any needs they have.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Micah Pixton
Mormons believe that this life is for exercising our right to choose (Agency) between good and evil and learning how to choose good. We also believe that this life is for forming family relationships that might become eternal. Show more Show less
