Hi I'm Mpho G. Lesele

Im South African and a mormon for now a decade, im a husband and a father, a law student and a student of scripture.

About Me

Im a happily married father of a beautiful girl. Im still at law school.i have served a mission in Kenya Nairobi, and am now serving as a counsellor to my ward bishop.I love reading and writing short stories and poems and my own sermons. I love my faith and my God and i would love to share my testimony with all the world, uplift and help honest men of the world to find the truth for themselves and thats my sole purpose for uploading my profile. I also love to do everything that has to do with the happiness of my family and is beneficient to the human kind.

Why I am a Mormon

Honestly im a mormon because of the truthfulness and fulness of the restored gospel as taught by the mormon chuch, it is truly the gospel of Jesus Christ in its simplicity and purity and i know that all men everywhere can know of themselves of this truth. The moment i read the Book of Mormon i felt the peace and assurance of its truth that could only come from the influence of the Spirit of God. This is not blind obedience or delusion as some may say, this my friends is the true gospel that will save you and I at the last day, i urge all those who will read this testimony to put it to the test and witness for themselves if really the mormons do not ''talk of Christ, rejoice in Christ, preach of Christ, prophesy of Christ,'' and surely the Spirit of Christ will speak peace to their hearts in confirmation of these things.

How I live my faith

My church calling entails lessening the burden on the Bishop's shoulders on account of his busy schedule, pretty much supporting him in some of his duties like Aaron and Hur did by upholding Moses' hands in the battle against Amalek, yea i sustain and uphold my bishop as his counsellor. I also often get to teach my High Priest group class. i ensure there isn't a day that passes by without me saying my prayers and doing my scripture studies. Although sometimes difficult, i strive to fulfil my home teaching responsibilities each month and strive to live such an exemplary life such as may warrant enquiries on the part of my neighbours and friends as to my faith and beliefs.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Mpho G. Lesele
Our missionary efforts are intended to accomplish what the Apostle Paul taught to the Ephisians in Chapter 4. In verse 5 thereof we read '' one Lord, one faith, one baptism''. that is an ideal which the gospel of Christ seeks to achieve, we have many different churches teaching different doctrines, they all use the same bible but differ in opinion and understanding, surely by reading the same bible we should all arrive at similar conclusions but we know that that is not the case and that is because we are not yet united in one faith. Paul continues in verse 11 and 12 to teach that the Lord gave some Apostles, some prophets and some evangelists and so forth for the express purpose that we might all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature the fulness of Christ. One needs only look at the differences that exists among our many different churches today to know that we havent as yet come in the unity of the faith. Now it is the ongoing commission of the mormon church, bearing the fulness of the gospel to carry to the world the gospel of Jesus Christ as it was taught by his Apostles and prophets of ancient time. The message is that Heavenly Father has again called prophets and apostles in our day and restored his church to prepare his people for the second coming of our Lord. The Lord will bring to pass this unity through his only true church by means of his ordained missionaries in these latter days Show more Show less
