Hi I'm Colin Rotundo Selin

Im from Schenectady, NY. I love Sports and the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a loving family, i was a lucky one. Many people arent as lucky. My parents encouraged me to do what made me happy and so i found myself playing sports. When i was younger i played all the sports but as I grew up I concentrated my time and effort to wrestling. I wrestled all through Highschool, However due to injuries of years past i never became a great wrestler. I like all things everybody else like, Girls , Music ( country), hanging out with my friends. I went to a year at BYU Idaho and i really enjoyed the atmosphere of being around people with the same beliefs as me. But i also love New York for that reason, people dont have the same beliefs as me and I am able to share my knowledge with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm mormon, but i do not like to refer to myself as a Mormon, I like to refer to myself as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints. I'm a member because I know this truly is the Church of Jesus Christ once again established on the earth through the Lords servant Joseph Smith, and that by abiding to the teaching of this gospel our lives can be blessed tremendously. And through this gospel we can all live with our families, friends, and Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by inviting other to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His atonement, Repentance, Baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost and enduring to the end. (Im a Missionary, a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ) I also use Christs Gospel to help myself in life by repenting continually, using the atonement and trying my best to keep his commandments. I also try to set a good example for my Family and my friends.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Colin Rotundo Selin
The purpose of life is very simple. To receive a physical body so we can obtain all the blessings our father in heaven wants us to have.another important purpose of life is to form family relationships that can become everlasting. life is also a time to exercise our ability to choose between good and evil(or to use our agency a girft given from God to choose), so that we may learn and gain experiences that help us become more like our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. God also gave us life so that we could experience joy and lasting happiness, which only comes through keeping the commandments of God. Show more Show less
