Hi I'm Cindy

I have mental illness that I rise above every day and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife to a wonderful husband. I enjoy crochet and knitting. I volunteer about 18 hours a week and I have mental illnesses. I enjoy cooking.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church on September 19 2010. I chose to take the missionary lessons because I was having problems with other churches. I have mood swings and my church community told me that I was not being Christ like when I was crying all the time and going to the doctor for treatment. I really needed a new set of friends who would love and like me no matter how I acted when an episode hit. The LDS church came to me and taught me the lessons. The missionary prayed for me when I could not keep my life from falling apart and invited me to meet more people at church. I now have a ward family who loves me for who Heavenly Father created me to be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a helpful person. I try my best to be someone others can talk to.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Cindy
Yes, As a Mormon, I believe in the holy bible. I read it daily and do my scripture study out of it. The Bible is the word of God and came from the writings of holy men of God as they were moved upon by the Holy Ghost (see 2 Peter 1:20-21) Show more Show less
