Hi I'm Donna Rowland

I grew us in the Baptist faith and converted in 2005 after being taught by the missionaries. I am Morman...

About Me

My husband I are retired and live in Virginia. We enjoy playing golf together, spending time with our familes, and getting together with our friends and going on road trips to sightsee and play golf.

Why I am a Mormon

I had been inactive from the Baptist church for about 15 years. Since my husband was a Morman, we had many visits by loving Mormon church members and missionaries. After my younger brother died suddenly in 2004, I began to give my life some serious thought and desired to be back in church. I decided to investigate the Mormon church and see what it was like. I was really impressed by the testimonies of the members and the love they shown me. They had something special that I had never felt before. I believe in Jesus Christ and his teachings and I know that this Church represents His gospel more accurately than any other church that I've been associated with. I know that God loves us and He has a plan for each and everyone of us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to follow the teachings of our Savior every day. My faith has grown so much since I have become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I try to make good choices every day by prayer, reading the scriptures, listening to the Holy Spirit, loving my neighbors, and following God's commandments. Being a Latter Day Saint offers me the opportunity to help others through service to my neighbors, community, and church. We receive many blessing when we serve our Lord.
