Hi I'm Ashley Fife

I'm an Artist, Texan, and Student at Brigham Young University. I love my friends & family, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am nineteen years old. I have a family of 5, and I am the middle child with two brothers. I was born and raised in Texas, and I now attend college in Utah. I am actively involved in church, school, and service activities. I enjoy learning! I have a passion for art and photography. I love the outdoors; fishing, camping, hiking, and sports of any kind. My family and friends mean the most to me. I am a deep thinker, with a big heart. I love my religion, my parents especially, and, most of all, my Savior- Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

Being Mormon is a lifestyle. It is the way we think, speak, and interact with each other. It influences our actions, our daily decisions, everything. I choose to be Mormon because it makes me happy. Living in such a pure, Christ-like way brings light- not only to my life, but to the life of those around me. The standards of this church are unlike those of any other denomination. They keep me clean, free, and help me to avoid unnecessary pain. Being Mormon provides me with purpose, and direction. I always have a plan, and something to work towards. It is a wonderful way to live life :) Most of all, however, I am a Mormon because I love my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I know that this is His true church, and that this is the way He would have me live my life here on Earth, in order to return to live with Him again someday.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an active example to my peers every day. I choose not to cuss, drink, smoke, dress immodestly, be profane in any way, do drugs, take the Lord's name in vain, or be disrespectful. I try my best in everything I do. I actively participate in youth activities through the church. I love serving others, and being Christ-like. I hold leadership positions amongst the young women, and always try to be a friend to those in need. I always try to stay positive; be happy, smile, and share the light of Christ. There is no such thing as a small act of kindness, and I live my life accordingly.
