Hi I'm John

I grew up in Washington State, primary in the cities of Sedro Woolley and Federal Way. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and a father. I have been married for 20 wonderful years. I have four children. Three currently live at home. The oldest, my daughter is married and is making me a grandpa sometime in October 2012. I have gone to college and have earned a B.A. and a MBA. I enjoy the outdoors and hotrods.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a mormon. Even though I was raised as such, I still had to find out for myself. At nineteen, I joined the Navy. I was stationed on the East Coast of the United States. I couldn't get to church like I did when I lived at home and realized that I missed it. I had read the Book of Mormon many times as a youth and in Seminary. However, when I got out of the Navy I read it again with more intent on learning spiritual things. It was after this time of reading it that I prayed and found out for myself that it was true. Every since then I have committed myself to living a more Christ like life.

How I live my faith

As a family we have prayers each morning and night. We also read scriptures together. I enjoy reading and often read the Ensign and scriptures. I try to live a clean life by being honest and kind to those around me. I enjoy all walks of life and will if asked share my faith.
