Hi I'm Katie Greene

I'm the third child of seven. I love the Gospel, my family, Math, Ballroom, Theatre, Russian, and people.

About Me

I'm a college student majoring in mathematics and minoring in ballroom dance. I have a wonderful family with two older sisters, four younger brothers, and two loving parents. I like to act, sing, dance, perform, eat fire, do gymnastics, rock climb, study Russian, learn new skills, and spend time with friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

My testimony has become very strong throughout my life. I have experienced the joy of living the Gospel and have seen that all the teachings are true and work as they should. How do I know prayer works? I do it. How do I know the Book of Mormon is true? I've read it. How do I know the Priesthood is the power of God? I've seen it at work. How do I know my family will be together forever? I am sealed to my family by the proper authority. How do I know Christ is our Savior? I've accepted Him into my life and have felt His power. How do I know the Lord loves me? How could I deny it? Never have I heard a more beautiful doctrine than I have in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. What better could the Lord offer us than the highest degree in the Celestial Kingdom? And wouldn't He want the best for us? This is the only church that is organized in the same manner as Christ's church in New Testament times. We have the Priesthood and we have temples. Through the saving ordinances we do through Priesthood in the temples, we may be married for eternity, sealed to our family, and obtain all the Father has.

How I live my faith

I've had a few callings in the church; I've spent nearly the past year as a Sunday School teacher. I spent four months teaching the young single adults and the last four months I've been teaching children under 12. I love visiting teaching and I love getting home taught and visit taught; I am a firm believer in the divinely appointed call to home teach and visit teach. Outside of callings, I have been active in the church all my life. I love attending church and I love living the commandments. To quote Ann M. Dibb, "I'm a Mormon; I know it, I live it, I love it!"
