Hi I'm Mark Bartholomew

I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of five children, raised in Southern California. I was raised in the church, and was very involved in the Boy Scouts of America. I am an active backpacker, and enjoy the outdoors. I have completed a year of schooling at BYU-Idaho, and am currently taking time off from school to serve a mission. I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that it is Christ's true church on the earth. I have felt His love and peace, and seen its influence in my life, and in the lives of those around me. I have personally prayed to know if the Book of Mormon is true, and if Joseph Smith was a prophet. I received the answer that the Book of Mormon is true, and that Joseph Smith was a prophet. Because of this, I know that this church- the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints- is Christ's true church, and that this is His gospel.

How I live my faith

I currently live my faith by serving as a missionary for the Church. As a missionary, I have the opportunity to share the Christ's gospel with those around me, for which opportunity I am grateful. As I serve, I see God work in the lives of people. As I strive to be worthy of His presence and His care, I have seen and continue to see him bless myself and those around me.
