Hi I'm Cami

I grew up in the shadows of Utah's beautiful mountains. My family, friends, and this gospel are my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Cami, and I'm a Mormon. I was raised in one of the valleys of Utah, where I learned to appreciate and love the change of seasons. The new adventures that come as the days slowly change from spring to summer, to fall, to winter. Each new day is full of surprises and the world has so much to offer. I love photography. Capturing a special moment, or a beautiful scene is like preserving a memory. I love singing, baking, reading, and spending time with those I love. My family is one of the most important things in my life. I'm the youngest of seven children, and I love having a big family! My eleven nieces and nephews never fail to make me smile and fill my life with joy. I love the innocence of children, and the things that they can teach you despite how young they may be. I'm grateful for the knowledge I have that families CAN be together FOREVER!

Why I am a Mormon

Born and raised in Utah, it's pretty common to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was born into the church. My ancestors were pioneers that made the trek to Utah and helped found some of the beautiful little towns that are found here. However, it hasn't always been easy to be a Mormon. I am the youngest of seven children, and until recently, my mom and I have been the only members of my immediate family that were active in the Church. It was hard when I'd see my siblings, whom I loved and respected, living in a way that was against what I had been taught and what I believed to be true. Although I've never really questioned the truthfulness of the Church, I did question what I did and didn't KNOW. I knew I believed it, but KNOWING and BELIEVING are different.... Through times of confusion, sorrow, frustration, and loneliness I came to KNOW that this Gospel is without a doubt, the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ on the earth today. This knowledge didn't just come to me. It was something I had to work to find. But through study, prayer, and continued obedience even when I didn't fully understand, I came to know my Heavenly Father. I know that he loves me. and he knows me. He knows and loves each one of us! He will NEVER leave us alone. Although this life isn't easy, it is made a little bit easier with the knowledge that the Lord has a plan for me. He knows exactly what he's doing. and if I trust in him, everything WILL be okay. Families can be together forever. Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. The Book of Mormon is True. The Holy Ghost WILL testify to you if you ask the Lord with a true desire to know. Thomas S. Monson is a Prophet today. And, Jesus Christ DID Atone for each one of us. For our pain, our sorrow, our sins, our sickness... but he also knows our most sweet joy and our greatest peace. I am a Mormon, because I KNOW that this Gospel is true. It blesses my life every single day. and I KNOW it will do the same for you!

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a missionary in the Bulgaria, Sofia Mission. I am grateful I have chose to live my life in a way that has prepared me for my Service to the Lord. I try each day to follow the example that Christ set for us while he was on the Earth. Despite how hard it is at times, I always try to find something I can do for someone else, and I try to remember and recognize the blessings that Heavenly Father is constantly pouring out upon me.
