Hi I'm Jaclyn

I am a lover of Chicago, chocolate, and kids. I am a Mormon :)

About Me

I am from a small town in central Utah. I love to be outdoors working. I love to eat lots of Chocolate( that's why I am out working to burn off the Calories!). I am serving a 18 month mission in Chicago, Illinois! I love the big city and the people here! Other fun facts, I have 3 sisters all of our names begin with J. We have done the Grand Canyon hike Rim to Rim in one day. I love the simple things in life. Like just little different designs of clouds.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I have gained a testimony of this wondrous Gospel! I have been able to push through hard things, painful things because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. There have been so many wonderful things in my life that have testified to me that this gospel is true. :)

How I live my faith

I am giving up 18 months of my life to serve Heavenly Father and His children. Teaching the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. It's been the best decision of my life. I have been able to see how the Gospel of Jesus Christ bless so many lives and brighten their days even when just saying hello to them. I also find that by putting others first, I am a much happier person. Having charity and living as Jesus Christ did while he was on the earth is what makes me feel happy and what makes me feel like I have a purpose. I know that by doing what he did makes me better and I love the feeling of being accomplished and productive.

How are modesty and chastity related? How can parents teach their children to be modest in dress, language and behavior?

Jaclyn
I believe that in order to be chaste you need to dress modestly. By dressing immodestly can make others' minds stray away and focus on impure thoughts. There is a sense of purity and wholesomeness by dressing modestly. Show more Show less
