Hi I'm Brandi

I live in Clinton, IA. I love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am happily married with 3 children. I am Co-President of the greatest organization in the world! I love my family! I love to spend time outdoors; hiking, running, riding bikes, playing games at the park, fishing with my family, kayaking, swimming, working in my garden and yard, sledding and would like to do lots more cross-country skiing. I also love to bake and love to add my own ingredients to recipes to make them a little tastier! I enjoy sewing and creating things. I also love game night with my family, sometimes it can get a little tense, but we are learning to not be so competitive. I love to serve my family, my church and my community. I love having get-to-gethers with family, friends and new people.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon! I know it! I live it! I love it! I love the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. I love the Peace that comes from Living the Gospel. I love the Plan of Salvation. I love the opportunity to partake of the Sacrament each week. I love Knowing that I am a Daughter of God! I love the TEMPLE! I feel so blessed to have the Temple in my life. I love being able to go inside to worship and make covenants with my Heavenly Father. I love Knowing that Families Can be Together Forever! It is a wonderful way of life:)

How I live my faith

I love to serve. Jesus Christ gave us such a great example in serving our fellowmen. As a wife and mother, my first priortiy is serving my family. I serve my husband by being a support to him, showing love to him, and taking care of the at home jobs like ironing, cooking meals, cleaning, paying bills, following a budget. I serve my children by loving them, teaching them how to accomplish their daily chores, being at the crossroads of their lives, reminding them to practice their instruments and, most importantly, teaching them the gospel of Jesus Christ found in the scriptures. I also have the opportunity to serve in our local church. I am involved in working with the youth, planning activities for them that will strengthen their testimonies of our Savior. As a visiting teacher to the women of our church, I am able to visit them each month and serve them when the opportunity arises. I also enjoy the opportunity to clean our chapel building. What a blessing it is to have a chapel to meet together to learn about the doctrine of Jesus Christ. I love to serve in my community by volunteering at the elementary school, at local charitable facilities and by cleaning litter from our roads and walking paths. I try hard to live my life with faith and share our Heavenly Father and Savior's love for everyone.

Are Mormons Christians?

Yes, we are indeed Christians. The center of our church is the Doctrine of Jesus Christ. In 2 Nephi 25:23 &26 says: "For we labor diligently to write, to persuade our children, and also our brethren, to believe in Christ, and to be reconciled to God; for we know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do...And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins."
