Hi I'm Alexandra

I grew up in Idaho, got a bachelors in Psychology, teach ballet, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Idaho in a tight-knit family. While growing up I was raised in the arts and learned how to play the violin & the piano. I was taught how to sing and dance as well as draw and act. When I went away to college I started as a music major but soon found out that it wasn't right for me and switched to psychology which has always fascinated me. I've always wanted to travel and am currently saving up money to try and study in Paris.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. No where else in this world can you find the peace that this gospel brings. Even when things have gone completely astray, and nothing has worked out as I planned, I know that my Father in Heaven is always behind me to guide me and comfort me. It gives purpose and meaning to the hardships that we all are required to face in life. It's a comfort to know that someone loves me so deeply, that he would be willing to sacrifice everything so that I can return to Him one day if I choose to. And I do, I do wish to return to the loving arms of my Father and His Son.

How I live my faith

I am active in our church and go to our Sunday meetings as well as our weekly activities. In the church I'm asked to support the sisters in the ward. And in truthfulness it isn't a difficult thing to do. Simply expressing interest in and befriending those around you as well as providing care and love when needed and teaching when asked to do so shouldn't be hard. It's rewarding to know that in such simple ways you can touch someone life and maybe ease some of the worry and pain, and share in the joy and triumph of your fellow human beings. People aren't made to be alone, and the church provides that companionship, especially to those who may not have it in their day to day life.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

No we don't worship Joseph Smith. Joseph Smith is a prophet of the church, just as Moses was. We respect him and greatly admire him, but we worship our Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
