Hi I'm Lane

Hi. I grew up in Wisconsin, having the blessing of this Church. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Wisconsin, having the blessing of this Church. After college I moved to and have worked in California for employment as an engineer. I return to Wisconsin when there is an opportunity, with my wife and children, to visit family remaining there.

Why I am a Mormon

I appreciate the complete doctrine of Christ learned here - including the need for faith in him, repentance, forgiveness, and the importance of keeping the promises made at baptism. There are very many good people in this church trying to do what is right and follow what Jesus taught. This has provided a good example for me and has been a great blessing. Another blessing is the hope for resurrection and eternal life that is available through Christ's atonement and hope that comes through finding in many instances that God responds favorably to a sincere request in prayer. I feel that the standards taught in this church are the standard's that Jesus Christ would have me live. The family is important to me and the strong emphasis in this church on the family can help children - a help for them to have a happy future and avoid many troubles in life. Knowing these things provides a measure of peace and happiness to life that I am grateful for. To me, this really is the church of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I attend church meetings on the Sabbath with my family. I strive to act as the Lord would expect me to, live according to gospel standards, serve others, be a good citizen, and perform church and family duties. Prayer and reading the scriptures are also part of my plan for each day.
