Hi I'm Drew

I grew up in the South. I love sports, especially golf and basketball. I am serving a full time mission!

About Me

I was born in the Atlanta area and stayed there till I was about 9 years old. I then moved to a small town in Southern New Jersey till I was 12. Then our family moved back to Lilburn, Georgia where we currently live. I love to play and watch sports. I played both basketball and golf in high school. I still play golf competitively and love every second of it. I am a 3 handicap and love to try and get out and play as much as I can. I currently am going to school at Weber State in Ogden, Utah. I am serving a full time mission in the San Francisco/Oakland mission. I got called to serve mt mission in Ribeirão Preto, Brazil. I served in California for 9 and a half months and will serve in Brazil for the rest of my mission. I love my family and I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I truly believe that it is the one and only true church on the Earth today. It has brought so much joy to me as well as my family's life. I know that living the gospel and following the Lord's commandments is the only way to know the true joy heavenly father has in store for us. I am very proud to be a mormon and live his gospel.

How I live my faith

I always try and chose the right. That is a little cliche to say but it's the one true way to happiness. When we chose to follow our Heavenly Father's commandment we are blessed and can experience true joy. He gives us them so that we can be safe and be happy. Sometimes people think that following his commandments restrict us and don't allow us to enjoy all the freedoms of this life. But in fact it does just the opposite when we chose to do what's right and follow our Savior Jesus Christ we are able to be in safety from those harmful things of the world. Then we are able to be truly free! Free from those things on this earth that can hold us prisoners such as drugs and alcohol. Every day I try and grow closer to my father in heaven one choice at a time!
