Hi I'm Lisa

I'm a student, a loving wife, an aspiring web designer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student studying advertising, and working part time at a campus job. I am happily married to the man of my dreams, he is seriously the best thing that ever happened to me. :) I like to go running, swimming, and play soccer. I went to Norway on a study abroad so I could learn the language and meet with some family I have there. While I was there, I played soccer barefoot, ate the best marshmallows ever, tried eating whale, swam in a fjord, made lifelong friends, and came back spelling "bus" like "buss." I love doing family history work; I think it's awesome to see what my family roots are. Family will always come first in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because being a Mormon makes me happy. There is substance in the truths that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints teaches. I love the personal relationship that I have with God. I am so grateful for all the blessings that have come from following the commandments. I truly believe that if I put my trust in the Lord, He will direct my life. I am nothing without my Savior. There are so many things I could say about why I am a Mormon. Mostly, I am a Mormon because I feel closer to God in this Church than in any other Church I have attended (and I tried a lot with my Mom). Plus, the Lord's living prophet on the Earth today is a Mormon. And through the Mormon Church, families can be sealed together forever-not just 'till death do us apart. I think that is the greatest blessing of all.

How I live my faith

My husband and I are the ward bulletin board decorators. We make the bulletin board attractive, put pictures of ward members on it, and add important information to it. That way, the ward can be more unified and informed.
