Hi I'm Katie

I am the tenth out of twelve children. I am a mormon.

About Me

I am an artist. I mess around with drawing, painting, and some digital retouching of photos. I live with my sister and babysit her kids during the day. At night I attend college so I can make a living someday with my art. I love to read books, watch movies, play board/card games, listen to music, and dance just for fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a mormon family. Grew up going to church every Sunday. Was baptized when I was eight years old. Graduated from seminary and went to institute for a year. My own personal conversion has been gradual throughout my life. I've always known the stories that are in the scriptures, but as i continue my life, they have more purpose and meaning. As a child, I thought of them as if they were fairy tales. When you grow up, you learn that fairy tales aren't real, so it was very exciting to know that these things actually happened. They are not tall tales just to be told to learn a lesson from. They do have lessons of how to live your life in them, but they also have an example of someone who actually lived that way and the blessings they received. That way we know for sure when we do the right thing. When we do what the prophets would have done, we can receive the same blessings as they did. Blessings of happiness, health, or even just simply a friend. So that is why I am a mormon. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. So I can partake of our Heavenly Father's blessings. Life is hard, but He can make it easier.

How I live my faith

I attend church every sunday and make it to as many activities as I can. However, school and work prohibit me from going to many.
