Hi I'm Camille

I love playing soccer. I have a little sister with cerebral palsy. I love music, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old, and I have too many hobbies! I love singing, hiking, theater, camping, water-fights, playing the piano, sports and especially soccer. I have 6 siblings- which makes for a fun time at our house. It also presents many challenges and blessings, one of which is that my younger sister was born with cerebral palsy. We have had to rely many times on the power of God and faith in His will as she has been in critical condition. I also have recently been called on a mission to Leeds England, and I am super excited to share the gospel there.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I believe that this church is the same church that Jesus Christ established on the earth when He lived in the meridian of time. I know it to be of the same power and authority. I however did not always know this. I was a Mormon just because everyone else was a Mormon. But there came a time when I needed to know for myself. I studied the gospel with my family and on my own, and prayed to know if it was true; I felt a calm, peaceful and happy feeling after I prayed. I am so HAPPY to be a Mormon! I just smile because of the love of God I feel from being in this faith. It means so much to me to know that I can return to be with God some day and become like Him through my actions on this earth. I know that living as a Mormon will help me to do this.

How I live my faith

Because I believe in Jesus Christ, I do my best to follow the standards He has set through His prophets. This includes dressing modestly, even when it's not popular to do so. I try to be kind to everyone and make a conscious effort not to judge others. I read the scriptures and pray daily because I feel strength when I do so. Living my faith, actually doing things because I believe, brings me happiness.
