Hi I'm Judy Lynn

I am a child of God, wife, mother, grandmother, neighbor. I'm a Mormon

About Me

My husband and I have been married for 50 rewarding years, parents to seven wonderful children, and grandparents to 27 darling grandchildren. I am proud to have Kentucky blood running through my veins from birth and often get teased about my accent and for saying "y'all." Living in Idaho since my marriage, I have had to combine the southern and western bloods, but I think the mix has gone well. I graduated from BYU in elementary education but chose to be a stay- at- home mom for 24 years. After my youngest child was in school, I taught first grade for 15 years. I love doing things with my family, teaching, traveling, playing the piano, musicals, sports, bicycling, square dancing, reading, visiting and talking with people, serving in church and community. Upon retirement, my husband and I were humanitarian missionaries in the Vanuatu Islands where we met many wonderful and humble people whom we grew to love.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family where my mother went to the Methodist Church and my father was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Mother loved Daddy's family and because of their example of good clean living and family love and togetherness, she soon opened her heart to the truths of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The rest is history. My parents lovingly taught the gospel of Jesus Christ in our home by precept and example and I was baptized a member when I was 8 years old. My testimony has only deepened and strengthened through the years and I love the faith to whicj I belong.

How I live my faith

I try to live my religion by striving to be a peaceable follower of Jesus Christ and following His example and teachings. I often fall short but know that life is a schoolhouse where we can learn and grow - so I keep on trying. I have taken seriously the role of being a wife and mother and being of service to the community, school, and church. I love doing and being involved.
