Hi I'm Beka

I grew up in Hurricane Ut. I'm currently a missionary in the Adriatic South Mission. I am a Mormon

About Me

I come from a large family of seven siblings. My parents are converts coming from a Baptist and Catholic background. I am a college student. I am taking a brief 18 month break to serve my Savior as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I love to laugh and joke around. Being outside is one of my most favorite places to be. I love the mountains. Camping and sports are my favorite past times. I love tennis and baseball. My family is so important to me and I look forward to the day I start my own. I love to be happy and surrounded by the people I love.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, not because my parents are, but because I choose to be. I know that Joseph Smith is a Prophet of God, who restored the true gospel. I have studied it and prayed and received an answer. With out any doubt I know that God lives and that his son Jesus Christ Atoned for my sins. I know that the power of prayer is strong and is the communication line to our Heavenly Father. I know families are eternal and that Temples make that possible. I know The Book of Mormon to be another testament of Christ. I know it is the word of God because I took Moroni's Challenge and I asked God. I am a Mormon because I know.

How I live my faith

I attend church services every Sunday. I also participate in my callings. I have had the opportunity to teach the five year old Sunday school class. I learned so much from the children. I am also given the privilege to visit three other women. I love visiting teaching. I not only get spiritual blessing by doing it. I also gain friendship from the women I visit and the women who visit me. Living my faith is not a burden. I love having the opportunity of serving because it brings me closer to my Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ.
