Hi I'm Ariel

I love culture, traveling and people!

About Me

I've never visited a place I haven't liked. I plan to travel the world someday so that I can increase my knowledge of people, places and cultures. I have an interest in studying the worst of humanity to learn conflict resolution and prevention. I believe that good can be found in everyone and it's never to late to change your life for the better. I love art and am always willing to take on a new challenge: painting, drawing, sidewalk chalk, pumpkin carving, etc. My top ten books are: The Count of Monte Cristo, Les Miserables, Dracula, Frankenstein, A Picture of Dorian Gray, The Phantom of the Opera, Treasure Island, Jane Eyre, The Screw Tape Letters, and A Pilgram's Progress.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because I love the gospel. I have seen evidence of its truth in my own life, and I could not make it through the crazy ups and downs of life if I didn't have it. The gospel of Jesus Christ gives me greater meaning, joy, and fulfilment in life. Because of the gospel I can wake up every morning with a sense of purpose. Being Mormon is a choice I made, and I've never regretted it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith simply by being who I say I am. When I say "I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints." it doesn't only mean that I was baptized and go to church on Sunday's. It means that I live by principles of the gospel such as repentance, forgiveness, love, kindness, integrity, honesty, etc. every moment of my life. I teach and serve in my church, help friends and family, and try to see the best in everyone around me. The gospel of Jesus Christ is more than just a religion, it's a life style that I've chosen.
