Hi I'm Justin

I'm an animator, artist, photographer, & motorcyclist. I love spending time with my girls. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I started a small business 11 years ago creating visual effects and animations seen everywhere from movies and rap music videos to infomercials and giant sports stadium screens. I enjoy motorcycles, a fast jet ski in the Gulf of Mexico with dolphins playing in the wake, and the clean lines of modern design. I'm a hobbyist artist and photographer struggling to do justice in capturing the simple beauty we pass by every day. I'm surrounded by girls! Husband to an amazing, talented wife and father to two of the most special daughters anyone could have the pleasure to know in a lifetime. What do I enjoy most? The time I spend with my girls; watching them learn, explore and discover the world around them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was first introduced to the Mormon faith through a wonderful young lady I asked on a date. She was different... the way she carried herself, the personality she projected, and at least one hundred other ways that just couldn't quite be described but truly set her apart. At the time I didn't realize it but quickly learned that this was her own faith shining through. She was was a true disciple of Christ. She shared her beliefs in a loving, honest and meaningful way. She invited me to read from the Book of Mormon, attend church with her family, and visit with missionaries from her church who would be glad to teach me more. When first meeting with the missionaries in her home I, perhaps carelessly, asked her to leave - thinking I wouldn't want to offend her if I didn't agree with what would be taught. As I met more with the missionaries I discovered what a blessing it was to have her input on questions I wondered about. Her father had become a Mormon around the same age I was at the time. He shared his experience and how it had made a difference in his life. Looking back I now better understand what he meant in a way I couldn't fully comprehend at the time. I had been well taught and my questions were answered I still didn't feel like I knew for myself if becoming a member of the faith was right for me. It wasn't until I prayed to my Father in Heaven to know if what I had heard was true. The next day I found myself gathered around a table in a Sunday school class. Even if I tried I could not tell you what lesson was being taught or who the teacher was, but what I can say is that the overwhelming, prayer answering feeling that filled my heart and soul was so powerful it was nearly tangible. I gained the answer and knowledge that I petitioned in prayer to a loving God. Knowledge that I stand behind to this day. As for the girl. She stands beside me, hand in hand, to this day as well.

How I live my faith

I try to break out of my somewhat quiet shell and share the gospel of Jesus Christ. I encourage others to find out for themselves, through personal prayer to a loving Father in Heaven, that Christ lives and knows each one of us. He wants us to be happy, follow in the example of his Son, and by doing so grow closer to Him. As someone who joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a teenager, I am excited to see the shining faces of individuals and families who are learning for the first time answers to life's deep and meaningful questions.
