Hi I'm Leslie

I am from a small town. I am an educated woman. I am single. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a family of 4 children, with two parents. I grew up in a small town among people not of my faith. I was fortunate enough to attend college where I received my Bachelor's degree. I attended another university where I received my educational specialist degree in school psychology. Though I am still a licensed school psychologist, I am currently a research coordinator at a university.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm choose to be a Mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ that is taught in the church teaches me and shows me how to be happy and to have peace. I enjoy reaching out to others and helping those in need-- whether it is physically or emotionally. The Mormon church strives to reach out to others and invites all to come unto Christ, who is the ultimate Healer. I love that my lifestyle aligns with the teachings of the church to which I belong.

How I live my faith

I choose to work at a private university as I can surround myself with educated colleagues who share a common faith. As a research coordinator, I have the opportunity to go to various schools, meetings, and conferences where I interact with many other individuals from all walks of life. I live in such a way that I can have peace in my daily life. It is a deep peace and joy that only comes from knowing who I am, where I came from, and what my purpose is in this life. It is in my nature to share love and joy with those around me as I serve them and get to know them on a personal level. I'm lucky enough that I have chosen a religion where reaching out to others is encouraged!
