Hi I'm Peter j. Neibert

I am a husband, father, professor and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ.

About Me

I am happily married 20. I have three wonderful children, ages 16,13, and 7. I am a professor of Athltic Training (sports medicine). I love my family and I spend most of my free time with them. My hobbies consist of working with my hands, sports, outdoor activities such as fishing, camping ect... I also like old cars. I hope to one day to own and restore a 1969 Chevy Chevelle Supersport.

Why I am a Mormon

I have spent many hrs studying and pondering the doctrines of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I compared those words of the prophets found in the Bible and the Book of Mormon. After pondering the messages and doctrines of these sacred text and the many things taught to me over the years from my parents and leaders, I did as the Book of Mormon prophet suggested as well the Apostle James, and aske the Lord if these things were true. As I pondered an asked if these tings were true, the spirit wispered to my heart and mind that these things are indeed true. This truth has been reconfirmed time amd time again throughout my life. I know with all my heart that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the kindgdom of God restored in its fullness. We have a living prophet, in Thomas S. Monson that recieved reveleation from the Lord Jesus Christ to direct his church on this earth. The priesthood authority that existed in the primative church in Christ time has been restored to the church in these later days. The Book of Mormon is scripture and is Another Testament of Jesus Christ spoken of in the New Testament. The gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored in its fulness and glory for all of his children to enjoy and to prepare for his second coming. Read, Ponder and Pray and you too will gain this power knowledge and understanding. I am grateful for this knowledge. It brings great peace and direction to my life. It is such a great blessing to have a living prophet that guides us in these latter days. If we but heed to message of these prophets we will find happiness in this life and will be prepared for the Lords Second Coming.

How I live my faith

In our local ward (congregation) I am resonsible for the handling of the finances. It is very humbling to see the faith and sacrifice of members as they pay their tithes and offerings. I also a home teacher. I am charged with the responsibility of visiting a handful of local members each month. I assess their physical, emotional and spiritual needs and report these needs to the leaders of the ward. In this way all the needs of the members can be met locally in each congregation. I also bring a spiritual lesson or message centered around Jesus Christ and his teachings. We always pray together with the family before leaving each visit. I am also very active in my community. I have many friends who are not members of the church. All of my friends have similar things in common. We love the Lord, our family's and desire to help and serve our fellowmen. I personally strive to help and lift all within my reach.
