Hi I'm Thomas

I am student studying to be an engineer. I play sports, the drums, and I am a member of a Fraternity. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Last year I was a full time college student. I am majoring in mechanical engineering and love it. Currently, I'm serving a mission in Peru which is great. Before I left for my mission I enjoyed playing sports, especially soccer, I was in the college marching band, and I was also a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity at my college. I am also an eagle scout and really enjoy the outdoors. Anything related to fishing, hunting, and hiking is right up my ally. All these things I plan on continuing when I return.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon not because I was forced to, but because I chose to. I am part of a part member family. My father was LDS and my mother was not. They got divorced when I was young and ended up living far apart. I was exposed to the church by my dad since the beginning, but never took it to seriously. It wasn't till I could drive that I gave the church a real effort. As I began to really participate in church and began reading the scriptures I really started to feel the spirt of the lord. The Holy Ghost really began testify the truths to what I was learning. Also, I really started to notice the influence of God in my life. These things and others experiences had is why I am a mormon.

How I live my faith

Currently, I live my faith every minute of everyday as a missionary in Peru. I am so lucky for the chance to share the gospel and I really enjoy it. Before my mission I served as a elders quorum teacher. This calling was such a blessing because of the skills I acquired such speaking in front of people. Besides callings I lived my faith by trying to set a righteous example for my family and friends.
