Hi I'm Mikayla

I grew up in Calgary. I am an engineering student and I work as a postie. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived my entire life in the Northwest subdivision of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. When I was young I began violin as my mother is a violin teacher. I also grew up participating actively in a local non-competitive dance program. I starting out with tap at five, and then added Ballet and Modern in later years. I love the grace of dance, and the power it gives to interpret and magnify the power of music. Dance is in my body, but music is in my heart. I have completed my first year in Mechanical Engineering, and love it. I recently began work for Canada Post as a Letter Carrier, or Postie, to save up funds for my schooling, as well as for serving a full-time mission. I have a mission call to the Virginia Richmond Mission and am excited to begin serving the Lord full-time.

Why I am a Mormon

I remember being a young child, raised as a member of the church and loving the fun activities that we were given. I had one experience as I was reading when I felt incredible peace and love from within, and realized that God was real and that He communicates with us through the power of the Spirit. I continued attending Church and

How I live my faith

I have loved growing up in the LDS community. I have had many leadership roles among in the Young Women's program with girls 12-18. In the past several years I have also learned about the many facets of Family History, learning how to find and learn about my ancestors. I was blessed to be able to serve in a church position to help others do the same.
