Hi I'm Josh

I was born and raised in Mapleton, Utah. I am serving my mission in Singapore speaking the Malay language. I am LDS.

About Me

First of all, I love music! I write original compositions and I also arrange hymns. I am in a mostly instrumental group with my friends, called 3Jays, because all of our names start with "J". I am serving my mission in Singapore, and the mission is really three countries: Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei. I am speaking an awesome language called Malay. It´´s a little hard, but I love speaking it with my companion and roommates, 4/7 days per week! I am so excited! I am in the Missionary Training Center (MTC) right now, and I ship out to Singapore December 10, 2012.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the LDS Church, but over the years, my testimony has only grown to reaffirm my beliefs and my knowledge of this Church. The Church means everything to me! I do not know where I would be without it, and I certainly would not like to find out. I love all of the people who support me and my moral values, and I will never change my beliefs. People can do whatever they want to me, but no matter what, I will never deny what I know to be true.

How I live my faith

I go to church every single Sunday that I possibly can. I love reading both the Book of Mormon and the Bible, and I pray often every single day. I try to acknowledge that all that I do and am comes from Jesus Christ, and I know that he lived and died for me. I know that he knows me personally; he knows my struggles and trials, my joys and sorrows--he knows me better than I know myself. I try to live my life in a more Christlike way every single day, and I am constantly trying to improve in every way possible. My testimony grows daily, and I know that it will not fall, because it is built on a sure foundation.
