Hi I'm Wes Thomas

I'm a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a missionary serving in the Louisiana Baton Rouge Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

The Savior, even Jesus Christ himself, is the head of this church, directing his servants, the prophet and twelve apostles, this very day. I feel the love of Christ every single day; a love that feels me with such joy, such strength and hope, that I cannot explain it sufficiently. I wish everyone could feel the amount of love that I do in my life. I know that Christ will never abandon me, even as I feel weak and inadequate, he turns my weakness and inadequacy into strength beyond what I could have ever dreamed. This gospel, this church, makes me feel a happiness, determination, strength, and peace beyond explanation. I know it to be true! I will serve my God and Savior to the best of my ability for the rest of my life. This is my testimony; that I know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that he loves me and has redeemed my soul, and that through Joseph Smith, the true and original church of the Savior has been restored to this earth.

How I live my faith

I follow Christ and do my best to do what he would do in any situation.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Wes Thomas
We can increase our faith in Jesus Christ by learning to rely upon him and keeping his commandments. As we keep the commandments and include Christ in every day of our lives, faith grows. The greatest influences of faith I've had are prayer and scriptures. Scriptures feed faith as we learn more of the gospel; prayer is a way of strengthening faith and keeping God involved in our lives. He is always reachable and will always listen and answer. He loves us all so much and will help us have the faith that we need to rely upon him and his son, Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
