Hi I'm Andrew Page

I love JESUS CHRIST! I'm a Mormon! I know it! I live it! And I LOVE IT!

About Me

I am currently serving a mission in Washington for the Lord. I love to listen to play music. Learning, exercising, and being with friends are only a few of the things I like to do. My most favorite things to do are being in service for my fellow beings and spending time with my family, which I believe is ordained of God. When I return home I plan on getting a job to save money for college, buy a motorcycle, play my cello, and go to college. I am not certain of what degree yet but it is going to be something to assist others in growing closer to Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. My family has been members for generations and I wanted to continue that legacy. But the real reason is when I was truly converted to Jesus Christ at the age of twelve. I was in Sunday School one Sunday and my teacher asked the class if we prayed about the Book of Mormon if it was true. My reply was the I never did, the thought never crossed my mind, and I just took it for granted. So the teacher invited the class to pray about it. In my prayers that night I focus on that question. The answer was wonderful. It wasn't anything spectacular. No bright lights or an angel appearing to me, but that would have been awesome. There was a warm feeling that over came me and I felt a voice softly say "YES". In that moment I knew that the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith was called of God to be his mouth piece for Him. My testimony grew that night. Jesus is the Christ, God is our Father in Heaven, and the Holy Ghost is our guide. I love this church and the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been RESTORED! There is no way I will be able to deny it for I have gained a witness and if I do deny it will be like denying that the sun doesn't exist.

How I live my faith

How do I live my faith? This is a very good question. I am not perfect in always being Christlike. I am human and I know I will mess up. I do know that as long as I have faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement I can be forgiven when I repent. As I am keeping my baptismal covenant (or promise with Father in Heaven), which is to bare Christ's name and be a witness, I can have the Holy Spirit guide me in how I can reach out to others and be an example. Then I do it all over again.
