Hi I'm Stuart

I love music and spending time with my family. I am on a mission in Las Vegas. I am mormon.

About Me

I am 21 years old I am on a mission in Las Vegas for the next few months. I love my family and some of my greatest joy comes from spending time with them. I am the oldest in my family with four younger siblings who I love so much. I play the piano and clarinet.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints my whole life, so it would be easy to say that I am a mormon because that is where I was raised. But I have come to love this way of life for myself. As I grew up and entered high school and college I was faced with trials that made me stop and think about what I was doing with my life. I took time to read out of scriptures and sincerely pray to know if Heavenly Father knew me. I am still learning and progressing with my weaknesses but I have felt my Heavenly Father's love for me stronger than I ever thought I could. I know he lives he has helped me through the rough spots of depression and sadness. My faith in God gives me so much hope to never give up the fight for the joy I want. I have prayed, desperately, to know if this in the right path for me. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God, I know it through many hours of prayer and reading. I want to stay on this path because I feel it will lead me to where God wants me to take my life. I trust that God can do much more with my life than I ever could alone. I love him for that.

How I live my faith

I try to let my faith show in the way I smile and treat other people. I believe this faith will lead me to the greatest happiness I can have, and to get there I dive into the gospel every day. I know when I am connected to God though prayer and the scriptures I will have his help and happiness. I look to help and lift those around me. The more I learn in the church, the more I want to turn outward and not be so selfish. I am away from my family for a little while, but I take to time to be close to them though letters. They are my life and joy.
