Hi I'm Eric Laurence Swenson

I am a performer. I play volleyball. I am serving a mission in Puebla, Mexico. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey, I am Eric. I am a college student, putting my education on hold for 2 years to serve a mission in Puebla, Mexico. I love the sport of volleyball and I play it a lot. I love to perform, sing, dance, you name it. Music is one of my pride and joys in this world. I love to spend time with the people that I love. I go through life trying my best to keep a smile on my face and just live life to its fullest :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for many reasons. One I KNOW without a single doubt in my mind that this is the true church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Going throught the promise of the prophet Moroni, found in Moroni 10:3-5 in the Book of Mormon, I have come to know that this church is true. I have read the Book of Mormon, recieved an answer from my Father in Heaven & I will continue to live this gospel for the rest of my life and for all of eternity. I have learned so much on my mission to serve the Lord already and I cannot wait to learn more. Helping others to know the truth of this gospel is so incredible, something that makes me happier than I have ever been. I love this church, I love Christ's gospel. I couldn't go through this life without him. He is my Savior, he lives, & I love my brother Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

In my ward I served others who needed my help. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has incredible service programs and by serving others I feel my faith strengthened & I feel as though I am acting like Christ and our Father in Heaven want me to live. I have been home teaching since I was 14 years old, going to homes of families in my ward and seeing if I can do anything to help them. This part of the Church makes sure that all people are accounted for, that the members of this church are happy and if they need anything or anyone we are there to help. My desire in life is to lead a life that others can look up to or see as a good example to them.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Eric Laurence Swenson
I am a missionary so I can answer this one right on the spot. :) When we enter your home we are looking to invite others to come unto Christ. We will talk about Jesus Christ, his atonement for all mankind, and we will learn about you so we can help you come unto Christ the best way possible. We are looking to bring others to Christ plain and simple. Invite us in and listen, you may love what we teach you. Show more Show less
