Hi I'm Jeffrey Western

I Love My Family. I Love Sports. I Love Cooking and Camping. I´ll Always Be A Missionary. And I'm a Mormon

About Me

I play lots of sports: Volleyball, Tennis, Football, Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, Ultimate Frisbee, everything. I love music, playing the piano, guitar, and drumset, and of course, everyone that knows me knows that I love to sing, I sing everywhere. I´m a hopeless romantic. I love camping, cooking, serving, and enjoying life while living the commandments God gave us. I was born a member and learned about Jesus Christ and my loving Heavenly Father my whole life and will keep learning. I love to read, absolutely love it, more than watching television, but don´t get me wrong I love to watch tv too (I´m not crazy). I'm going to return to BYU Provo and then become an Optometrist. But first I am currently serving a church mission to the humble but a little crazy people in the Mexico Mexico City Northwest Mission for two years. I love life and I absolutely love my family.

Why I am a Mormon

This life is tough and I have had my share of trials and obstacles, many I have brought upon myself and without God, without the church, without the knowledge I have, I would be lost. Being Mormon is not about having all these rules that control my life, it's about making the choice myself to follow the rules so I can have a better life. I choose each day for myself, we all do, and we all need help. I am thankful for God, his son Jesus Christ who paid for my sins in the Garden of Gethsemane and then died on the cross and was resurrected that I too may once live, and for the Holy Ghost who helps to guide and protect me in this tough world. Each of them separate beings with one purpose to help get me and all of the world back to live with them again. This life isn´t easy and was never meant to be, but if we want to be happy, I mean truly happy, not this fun-on-the-weekend-with-my-friends type of happiness, I mean a everlasting happiness, it´s only through being faith in Jesus Christ and being exactly obedient, not choosing what you want to live but doing the will of the Father, being obedient to everything he has asked, it´s not easy but life is a lot easier when were obedient and the blessings outway anything else that we can receive from the world.

How I live my faith

The church is true, and absolutely perfect, we the members, not so much. We make mistakes like everyone else but through the church, we can fix our lives everyday and try to better every day. I´ve been a member my whole life but that doesn´t mean that I´m perfect, far from it. But through the atonement and through repentance I have learn to grow and change, making decisions everyday, because our decisions determine our destiny. I love the church and have decided to spend two years of my life on a church mission, why because this life isn´t just about me, I have been blessed beyond reason and I wish for everyone, everywhere to have the same happiness that I have. I am serving in the Mexico Mexico City Northwest Mission where people are searching for peace and happiness, and the way to be forgiven. It is my responsibility and priviledge to share this message with anyone and everyone now and forever, as a missionary and afterwards, steadfast and immovable, a light and a example to all those that I come in contact with.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Jeffrey Western
How can we know anyone in life? By talking to them. We can know God by conversing with him as if he were actually there, telling him how our day was, and asking for help and guidance. When I ask for his help, he gives it, not always when I want, but that's because God can see everything and we cannot. He will answer our prayers and he will listen to us if we but open our hearts and our mouths and seek to establish a relationship with him. Show more Show less
