Hi I'm Jennie Gaylord

I was born in Colorado and moved around the west. I am a wife, student learnin ASL interpreting. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom of a baby boy who is 5 months old. I love sign language, painting, riding bike, roller-balding, hiking, camping, playing in the snow, sledding, fishing, reading, getting to know others, build things, repair things, playing with kids, learn how to play musical instruments, color, sports, and anything else that sounds fun. I am married to a wonderful husband who is a amazing skateboarder, quick learner, loves kids, hiking, out door things, and many other fun things to do.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents separated when I was three years old. My older brother and I would spend every other weekend, Holiday and 2 months out of the summer with our mom. The rest of the time was with our dad. Our mom had some issues. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with my dad.We had our grandma and other relatives near by to help out and get to know family on both sides. When I was 14 years old, my dad died in my own arms. My brother and I moved in with our mom. It was then that I knew that I needed to decide what I was going to believe. Was there a God? Is Jesus Christ real? What will make me happy in this life? What happens when I die? I was always raised to go to church, but needed to know for my self. one night I kneeled in prayer and bluntly asked God the questions that were on my mind. I got my answer. I know God lives, I know we have living prophets on the earth today. President Thomas S. Monson is his mouth piece. Jesus is the Christ, through the atonement that he performed, we are able to repent, be healed, and make it home. The scriptures are true. The Book of Mormon is another witness of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I do a few things in the ward. I like to attempt a meal or food for a event when one is needed, I work with the youth and talk with others about the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.
