Hi I'm Bill

I am a retired Honeywell Aerospace Engineer. Have been married to Barbara JoAnn for 55 wonderful years. I am a Mormon

About Me

Although born in Ohio, my parents brought my brother & I to California when I was 3 years old. I have lived in California continuously sine then. I earned a BA in Mechanical Design and worked in the Aerospace industry. My work included design & building of a variety of Jet Engines and various commercial aircraft components. Spent 5 years developing necessary Test Equipment for the Space Station Carbon Dioxide Removal Assembly. I am an avid follower of our Space adventures and enjoy Astronomy. I enjoy most sports events and have participated in High School Football and Church Baseball. I enjoy Golfing although there are times when I am not sure yo could call it that.

Why I am a Mormon

Early in my marriage and about the time our first child was to be born, I began to desire to become a church going person. I had had some early training in a non-denominational church & wanted to return to those types of activities. My wife & I began searching for a religion and a fellow employee began providing me with information on his church, the LDS Church. We decided to allow the LDS missionaries to come to our home and explain their religion. Almost from the beginning my wife & I realized that the things they taught us were true. We soon joined the LDS Church and have never looked back. Nothing that I have been involved in in the church has lessened that knowledge

How I live my faith

I am a convert to the LDS Church of over 50 years. During that time I have served in a number of different capacities, such as Youth Leader, Adult Leader, Ward Mission Leader and Bishop. As a youth Leader I have been involved in Scouting and helping church young men to realize their potential both spiritually and temporally. Service in the Church has served me well in helping me to be a better person
