Hi I'm Alden Wilson

from Henderson Nevada, Love riding and roping, and best of all serving a mission in Baguio, Philippines, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently serving a mission for the church in Baguio, Philippines. I enjoy being outdoors, hunting, fishing, riding four wheelers, playing sports, snowboarding, but i mostly enjoy being able to compete at rodeos with my family, Me and my brothers and dad enjoy team roping, calf roping and steer wrestling. My family is everything to me, without them I wouldn't be who I am today. I'm grateful for them!

Why I am a Mormon

The reason i'm a Mormon. You have to where you're at to know where you're going. Being a Mormon isn't just a religion. It's a way of life. It's who I've become. Through being a Mormon i've come to know who my savior is, how he knows me more than I know myself. He's walked a mile in my shoes through every trial every tough situation. Being a Mormon to me is knowing where I am and where i'm going, my outlook on life is so much clearer than that of others. There's times when I question who I really am, but everytime, I come to find that the Lord knows who I am and each time i endure a new trial I learn a little bit of why I'm here and who I really am. I'm grateful to be a Mormon, without this gospel I would be lost, i'm grateful for a family and parents who have sacrificed so much for me, who give me guidance in every aspect of my life. And who never gave up on me. I'm grateful for a Savior who atoned for my sins, for a loving Heavenly Father that truly answers my prayers, I know the Book of Mormon is true, in it's pages I've found guidance in my life and answers to any question i have had. I know that God does answer prayers he leads us where we need to be, even when we think He's taking us in the wrong direction He knows better than we do where we need to be. Being a Mormon has blessed my life, without it, i wouldn't be here, It's made me the man i am.

How I live my faith

My mission to me is something i've been dreaming about ever since i was i was a kid. Serving in the Philippines is the greatest decision of my life, i've made a lot of decisions in my life and one i'm glad I made was to serve a mission, there's days where it's hard but at the end of the day when i pray i know that My Heavenly Father hears his son. Seeing people change is the greatest, both investigators and myself, It's proof that no matter our mistakes He never gives up on us, so now i need to never give up on others and see them for who they can become.
