Hi I'm Susan Claeys

I grew up in California. I've lived in Idaho, Florida, Illinois, and Wisconsin. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I try to stop and recognize my blessings each day. I'm 55 yrs old. A mother of 4 awesome adults and step-mom to 2. I'm married and we moved 6 months ago onto a farm. Our new congregation is like our family away from family. We feel so welcomed and loved. I'm making new friends as I go out and visit my new sisters. I raise chickens and can produce from our garden. I went back to school last year and got my nursing assistant license. Personally, I was in an accident with a semi-truck, and spent over 3 years between hospitals and a nursing home, surviving 21 surgeries until I'm almost "good as new".

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I love my Savior and my Father in Heaven. I feel their love and guidance in my life showing me what is true. I want to make them happy and help others. I'm a Mormon because I want to take advantage of all of the blessings Christ's church has available for me. I wanted to follow Christ into baptism and receive the Holy Ghost as a constant companion, (if I'm living worthily), and repent and draw close to God's love. I love my Savior and I want to share His love and message with everyone I meet.

How I live my faith

I've met many people who have gone through much more than I have and I've seen miracles and felt the spirit of comfort and strength poured out from our loving Father in Heaven. Are you grateful for your toes, feet and legs? I sure am!!! Some people don't have these. We should be thankful people for knowing that life is eternal. This life is a testing period and part of our Father's plan. He did not create us to fail, but to suceed.
