Hi I'm Janina!

I am from the Philippines. I am a returned missionary. I am a wife and mother at heart. I am proud to be a Mormon.

About Me

I am Janina from the Philippines. I am married, and my eternity with a great man started on January 2016. I am a mother at heart. My hobbies are watching movies and TV Series, I also enjoy reading short stories. I am a Returned Missionary from The Philippines Baguio- Urdaneta Mission. I am a sunday school teacher for children at the moment.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I chose to be one! Before, I am still searching for the answers why but being close to the church and making an extra personal effort to understand and live the gospel made me realize why I am a Mormon. I am grateful for my parents for setting a great example of living the gospel. I am a Mormon because I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God, also our Living Prophet Thomas S. Monson. I also believe and know that the Book of Mormon is word of God and it changes people, and I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ lives and loves us.

How I live my faith

I know that my faith is my way of living and following the footsteps of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I have journeyed my years of living my faith through ups and downs, but the most significant events will always be treasured are when I decided to serve the Lord for 18 months in Philippines Urdaneta Mission, when I decided to marry in the Philippines Manila Temple and when I decided to move forward when bad things happen in my life and my family. Faith will not be complete without trials, and I know that trials are there to make us stronger, make us wiser and lean closer to the Savior. Living in faith is not living life perfectly, but living in faith is living each day with a grateful heart and a hopeful mind that things are for the better and will get better. I was blessed to serve in different callings for the church, that helps me understand on how I can live and practice my faith. I am now living my faith by teaching kids about the gospel of Jesus Christ. Daily, I live my faith by sharing one quote or message from heaven to my social network and spread kindness from heaven.

What do Mormons believe about family?

We believe that Families can be together forever. That our families here on earth can be our families in the life to come, and that death is not to end the relationships we have here on earth. For this to happen, we need to be worthy and prepare for temple ordinances and covenants. Show more Show less
