Hi I'm Chanel Pemberton

I`m a missionary in Japan. I`m loving life and I`m a Mormon!

About Me

I`m 20 years old and living in Japan as a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. I love photography and drawing. I`m funloving and love to laugh. I love my life and wouldn`t give it up for the world. I know I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and I love him!

Why I am a Mormon

My mother passed away in 2005 from a brain tumor. I lived with her best friends and through a photography project I met a friend named Robby. I hadn't really had any previous experience in other churches so I wanted to learn more. Robby gave me a book of Mormon and told me about Moroni 10:3-5.After one firm confirmation of the gospel I knew I wanted to be baptized. I have been a convert for about a year and a half. I have also had the greatest privilege to do my mother's temple work for her! That was one of the most joyous moments of my life. I have learned through the gospel that families can be together forever! That is one of the greatest blessings for me because I know I CAN see my mother again after this life. I continue to follow his gospel because I know if I do I will return to live with him again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving a mission in Japan.I will be away from home for 18 months but I believe it's worth it because of all the people I can meet and teach about the gospel. Also, I attend the temple when ever I can. I try to live my life in constant remembrance of the Savior and his Atonement. I look for service opportunities in my ward and allow others to serve me as well.
