Hi I'm Ian

I love to have fun. I'm a huge fan of anything on two wheels. I'm a music lover. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a big mixed family and moved around quite a bit. I've had a passion for motorcycles since I was little, and learned to love bicycles while on my mission. I love to hang out with friends and family and just have a good time.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I love the peace and hope that comes from knowing that families can be together after this life. I love that we can listen to a living prophet today, and know what our Heavenly Father wants for us today. I joined the LDS church when I was a senior in high school. I moved in with my dad when my mom was tired of my rebeliousness and wanted me to shape up. My dad and my step-mom were Mormons and wanted me to go to church with them. The members of the branch and my parents shared the message with me without being pushy and didn't give up on me. After meeting with missionaries for almost two years, I finally decided to sincerely pray to know that the Book of Mormon was true. I felt the Spirit, and I knew it was true, and that the church that brought it to me was really the Church of Jesus Christ. A few weeks later the missionaries invited me to be baptized, and I was baptized that week. I didn't want to be a "Mormon" at first, but now I embrace it. I know that this is the true church and that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God who translated the Book of Mormon by the power and gift of God. The Savior said, "By their fruits ye shall know them" and I know that there is nothing but good that comes from this Gospel.

How I live my faith

I like to reach out to those that need a hand when life gets tough. I try to help as best I can with responsibilities in the church. I try to share the peace and happiness I've found through the Gospel with others.
