Hi I'm Celeste

I'm a biochemistry grad student. I love music, reading, and spending time with my amazing husband. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently working on my Master's degree in biochemistry. I like learning about science, and especially about the human body and nutrition. I am also an avid reader (when I have the time) and love to read anything from classics, to sci-fi and fantasy, to non-fiction. Music is another passion of mine, both listening and playing. I'm currently enjoying the busy college life with my husband, until we both graduate and move on to the next exciting chapter of our lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be raised in an LDS family as a member of the Church, learning about the gospel and starting to gain my testimony at a very young age. Why I am a Mormon centers around my testimony that I know I am a daughter of God who loves and knows each and every one of us. The Gospel is here restored to the earth in its fullness, so that we may learn and grow, and then return home to live with Him again. Having this eternal perspective keeps me grounded and centered on what's truly important: my faith, and my family.

How I live my faith

I'm currently serving in a leadership position in my student ward where I get to work with wonderful women around my own age who are in similar stages of life. We enjoy getting to know each other and helping each other learn the gospel each week as we strive to live the principles of the gospel and share our experiences. Previously, I've served as organist, which I loved, and hope to do so again someday. Music is a wonderful and beautiful way to live and share the gospel.
