Hi I'm Elder Campbell

I am a Mormon who grew up in both Idaho and Utah. I'm about to go on a mission to St. Louis, Missouri.

About Me

I have been an avid Boy Scout and have received the Eagle Scout Award. I also went on to earn three palms in the Scouting program. I've wanted to serve a mission my whole life. My dad served a mission in Guatemala when he was my age. Now I'm finally having my chance to serve the Lord; in the Missouri, St. Louis mission. I've grown up in the Church my whole life. I absolutely love to read; it is my favorite hobby. I love to learn as much as I can about space, and the technology that we gain through its study. Most of all, I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that it is only through Him that we are saved. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I believe in Jesus Christ and I love Him with all of my heart. Thats why I'm out here, serving a two year mission. Because I love Him.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church, and once I was ordained into the Aaronic Priesthood, I quickly grew a testimony of the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that this is the true Church of God. I know we have a prophet today, and he is the Lords mouthpiece. The Gospel brings peace and happiness to both myself and to my family. Holding the Priesthood has taught me about blessing the lives of those I care about. The healing power of the Priesthood is an awesome thing to see first-hand. The reason I came on a mission is because I know that this Gospel is true, and I want everyone to be able to hear it and decide for themselves if it is true or not. While I've been on my mission, I've learned alot. I guess that one of the most important things that I've learned is that if you love the people you interact with, nothing else matters. It doesn't matter what religion they are, or what they do. While I am out here to share what I know with others, and which I know will bless their lives, I can only invite them to hear, and to love them no matter the outcome.

How I live my faith

I have served as a second counselor in the Priests Quorum of my ward, and have been the piano player in priesthood meeting for four years. Absolutely loved Seminary; it brought me closer to my Father in Heaven, and it brought an absolutely great feeling of peace in my life. it also gave me a strong desire to study my scriptures and to want to be like Christ. Even today, I can still remember most of the Scripture Mastery verses by heart.
