Hi I'm Dallin

I'm from a small town in Alberta, I love playing sports, or hanging with friends and going motorbiking. I'm a mormon

About Me

I love playing pretty much any sport, but basketball is definitely my favorite. I enjoy going paintballing with my friends or just hanging out. I always have a blast doing things with my family especially when we can all get together. I enjoy being able to go for a nice relaxing ride on my motorbike, especially when there is some nice scenery. I've finished my first year of Engineering at university and am taking some time off.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the church has been a great blessing in my life, I've had a good relationship with my family and lots of support throughout my life. Knowing that Jesus Christ has suffered for my sins and that because of him I can some day return to my loving Heavenly Father has been a true comfort in my life. The gospel has also blessed my life during times of tragedy, when my grandma's died, knowing that I'd see them again some day was a real comfort. Being a member of the church has really helped me to recognize all the ways that Heavenly Father has blessed me in my life and through that to understand how much he loves me. Knowing that there are once again Prophets on the earth that help us to understand what Heavenly Father wants for his children and having that guidance in my life has really helped me. And everything that I have learned while reading the Book of Mormon has helped me to face the challenges that I have had in my life.

How I live my faith

I love going to church both for the things that I learn there and for the sense of community. I enjoy being able to do stuff to help people out whether that be helping them to move or helping with some yardwork or shoveling the driveway. I haven't had too many calling in my ward but the ones I have had I've enjoyed, especially being able to work with others to plan activities or service projects. I'm currently serving a mission so that I can help others come to experience the same joy and happiness that the gospel has brought to my life.
