Hi I'm Ron

I grew up in Chihuahua, Mexico. I have a Ph.D. in horticulture and am now retired. I love my Savior and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Life is good! I have spent my professional career working with farmers and students helping them become productive givers to society. What a blessing to also be able to work with nature and see God's beautiful handiwork. I enjoy all types of outdoor activities, especially growing all types of horticulture crops. After 43 years of a wonderful marriage I unexpectedly became a widower. I was recently blessed to enter into a sacred marriage covenant with a beautiful daughter of our Father in Heaven.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born of goodly parents who taught me the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and taught me by example the happiness that comes from living righteously. I have tried to live the teachings of my Savior while teaching my children about God. I have a firm testimony of the Book of Mormon and know that the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is found within its pages. The Bible is also the word of God.

How I live my faith

I value my membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It is very rewarding to help spread the message of the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who are seeking the truth. Spreading the bounties of my garden to neighbors and others is also very fulfilling.
