Hi I'm Tyler

I grew up in Arizona. I am a student at BYU and study political science. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am student studying political science. I work at the Missionary Training Center teaching Spanish to new missionaries. I served my mission in the Córdoba, Argentina Mission and loved every minute of it. I am one of six kids and love being around family. I have a twin brother and we are the youngest of the kids. I love to play basketball, be outside, and spend time with loved ones.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and baptized at eight years-old. Although I was born into the Church I had to find out for myself that it was true. I spent a lot of time doing this in my teenage years. As I read the Book of Mormon and learned about Joseph Smith and made it a priority to think and pray about, I came to know through the peaceful feelings of the Holy Ghost that it is true. I continue to live this way because I know that it is the only way back to live with God. He has given us specific commandments and has given us His Son, Jesus Christ, to live those and be able to repent when we don't. LIving in this way gives me peace and joy now and will in the future.

How I live my faith

I try to be involved in the church where I attend. There are many opportunities to serve and one of those is visiting those members who I attend church with to help them and get to know them. I do this on a monthly basis. In the past I have served with missionary work in the church where I live in trying to find people who want to hear more and who are struggling with various aspects in their lives. I try to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ in my day-to-day life and try to make that a priority. Praying and reading in the Bible and the Book of Mormon are important parts of my life and help me to live with peace and happiness no matter what trials I am faced with.
